🛡️ August Theme: Energetic Boundaries & Protection
If you’ve been feeling drained, scattered, or emotionally raw lately—especially after being around certain people or spaces—you’re not alone.
For us sensitive souls, energetic boundaries are everything. We don’t just hear what someone says—we feel what they don’t.
You know what I mean, right? That lingering heaviness in the room after a deep or intense conversation—even after everyone’s gone. Or the tension you can feel coming off someone who’s smiling on the outside but hiding something underneath.
We pick up on it all. And over time, that kind of energetic intake comes at a cost.
This month, we’re exploring how to lovingly say no, and how to protect your space without guilt. Because protecting your energy isn’t selfish—it’s sacred. You get to decide what enters your field and what doesn’t. And when you do? Everything shifts.
✨ Try This: 3-Minute Energy Reset
This is a mini practice I return to daily—especially after client sessions, intense conversations, or just being out in the world.
- Ground: Place your feet flat on the floor. Take 3 slow, deep breaths.
- Clear: Visualize any energy that isn’t yours draining down through your feet into the earth. Notice anything that catches your attention about the draining energy.
- Protect: Imagine a soft light or cocoon forming around your body—whatever color feels safe. Let it seal gently. Sometimes I call in Archangel Michael to support me and protect me.
Do this before and after social situations, or anytime you feel like you’re carrying more than your own energy.
Years ago, my acupuncturist gave me a small pendant made of bone. It was flat, with holes running through it—something you might imagine a shaman wearing around their neck.
He told me, “You need to be like this piece of bone—permeable. Let what needs to enter flow in, and let what no longer serves you drain out through the bottom.”
That image has stayed with me ever since. A reminder that I don’t need to block everything out. I just need to allow things to pass through—without holding on.
