🌿 July Theme: Coming Home to Your Energy
This part of the summer can feel like a mixed bag for sensitive souls.
The heat is building. Maybe you’ve been pushing hard to keep up.
Maybe you’ve been overextending yourself just to stay afloat.
Or maybe… you’ve felt a little disconnected from who you truly are.
If any of that sounds familiar, here’s your gentle reminder:
You don’t have to earn your rest.
You just need to come home to yourself.
Coming home doesn’t mean hiding. It means softening inward with love. Getting quiet enough to hear your own truth again. Reclaiming your energy—not because you’re broken, but because you matter.
As long as I’ve been on this path, I still need reminders. And the biggest one? It’s all a practice.
There’s no magic pill. No “one-and-done” fix that makes life suddenly easy for us sensitives.
We just keep circling back—again and again—to presence, to truth, to grace.
Lately, I’ve been so tired. The kind of tired where you come home, sit down, and immediately fall asleep—hard. Some days it’s even hard to get home! I’ve got so many ideas and plans… the membership, new blog posts, massage nerd-outs. But when I’m tired? I rest. I honor that need.
So here’s permission—if you need it—to give yourself the space and grace to do what you need to do. That way, when you show up, you’re showing up whole.
🌞 Why Does It Feel So Intense (Especially for Sensitives)
Ever wonder why this time of year just feels… a lot?
The world is buzzing—sun, noise, invitations, expectations—and for sensitives, that outward intensity can start to clash with our inner needs.
When you’re already tuned in deeply, even the joyful parts of summer can feel like too much. That’s why honoring your energy and coming home to yourself matters more than ever.
✍️ Journal Prompts for Reconnection:
- What parts of me have I been neglecting or silencing?
- Where have I been giving too much of myself away?
- What helps me feel safe, grounded and whole?
- How do I want to show up for myself this month?
💫 Affirmation for July:
“I return to my center with grace. My energy is sacred, and I protect it with love and intention.”
✨ Write this on a sticky note and place it somewhere you’ll see it often—a gentle nudge to come back to yourself throughout the day.
This month, I encourage you to slow down—just enough to listen inward.
Your inner world has so much wisdom to offer.
Even five minutes a day—journaling, breathing, unplugging, or napping—can shift everything.
